You two have decided you want to say I do at a magical, intimate, right out of a fairytale elopement location. You want to be under the mist of a waterfall but don’t want to be surrounded by people.
Vibes.
So here are 3 elopement locations I set aside just for you two to start planning your dreamy NY waterfall elopement!
01. Rainbow Falls

Rainbow Falls is a part of the Minnewaska State Park Preserve near Accord, NY. This elopement location is perfect for you two to explore a secluded 6 miles loop with a beautiful waterfall.
This trail is a slight challenge that has small sections of scramble and a stream side rocky section. Minnewaska State Park Preserve is full of dense forest lakes and overlooks, making it a perfect place for adventurous explorers like you two!
Lace up those waterproof boots! Heading to this elopement location after a little rain is ideal, and those small streams will take over sections of your hike. But who minds a little water?
02. Mullet, Denton and High Falls

Did you say waterfall? I heard waterfalls! This secluded elopement location is the spot for you two because just 1 epic view isn’t enough. 3 beautiful waterfalls, 9 miles of rocky trails, and not a person in sight.
High, Mullet, and Denton Falls are a part of the Neversink Unique Area of New York. So head out early to miss the crowd and don’t forget your polaroids for some mid hike snapshots! The scenery here is stunning and you two are going to want to take a moment to take it all in.
03. Awosting Falls

So you guys want a huge, dramatic waterfall as your backdrop! Awosting is your elopement location. The trail to this iconic NY waterfall is 5 miles long with a pause to experience the vast views from Compass Rock. Because why choose between waterfalls and overlooks, when this trail has both!
Let’s plan your elopement for a springtime early morning where you’ll have a full on waterfall and the trail to completely yourselves. We will take a moment to snap some photos on the romantic wooden bridge and you two can share coffee overlooking the valleys of NY. Simple, sweet and a hint of adventure.
We will plan your elopement around rainfall so you get the most out of the waterfall! Mid summer waterfalls can be slightly dried up and you two are looking for a MOMENT. Early morning mid week is always best to avoid any crowds so you guys can truly experience this elopement yourselves!
Leave no trace and see you in the mountains!
Let’s start planning your NY elopement here!
