I got it all covered.
You two deserve a stress free elopement, and I can't wait to be a part of it!
I'm New York based and was raised on these trails
I was born and raised in NY but have lived in a few other states like new mexico, ohio, pennsylvania, and have traveled to even more. But no matter where i traveled, NY's mountains always felt like home.
from the Catskills to the gunks, the towering waterfalls, outlooks that stretch over the valleys, and the miles of glacier placed scrambles, my happy place is on the trail.
And now i get to share that love with my husband, our 3 daughters, and nature loving couples like you two.
" We absolutely loved working with kaitlynn. we were so happy to have her capture this moment through her lens.the end results were stunning and i love the candid photos where we didn't even realize she was photographing us. The location was beautiful too. Her attention to detail, directing us so easily, and making us feel comfortable was truly enjoyable. Kaitlynn is truly a pleasure to work with."

It started with an elopement..
My elopement actually! And it did NOT go down the way I imagined. Trent and I eloped to an super sentimental epic frozen waterfall in February. What was supposed to be a short 15 minute hike to the falls (then meet up with family for celebration lunch) turned into a 2.5 hour hike.
The road to the short trail was closed for the season and we had to start at the long path trailhead. Luckily we were prepped for an actual hike, but it threw my whole timeline out of wack. Phones were dead, so no contact to let the family know the sudden change and didn't bring my spikes so just imagine me slipping across sheets of ice in that ICONIC faux fur coat. The coat deserved better.
Shout out to our families for watching our daughters during our impromptu adventure.
Locations, permits, timeline, all of it was so confusing and we had to navigate it on our own. I knew then that I wanted to be a guide for couples who want to elope, who cherish the intimacy and adventure, and make their elopement an experience, not more stress.
